Sometimes referred as backsplash, is the section of material that used in the surrounding area that runs along the kitchen wall, behind the sink, countertops and kitchen appliances. This can be constructed from materials such as glass, tiling and stainless steel. Protection is provided to the kitchen walls from food particles, sauces and oils etc, that are often generated by the food making process. They are thus much easier to clean and maintain than if you just had a painted wall.

Rigid Kitchens offer a higher overall strength than flat pack kitchens because they are supplied fully factory assembled and use industrial strength glues and dowels rather than just screws.
